Motoki Hirai:
World of Japanese Picture Bbooks

Motoaki Hirai introduced the Israeli audience to the fantastic world of Japanese picture books through story-telling, music and Images.
Mr. Hirai, a Japanese pianist/composer, wrote original music inspired by three well-known
Japanese picture books including the story by Kenji Miyazawa, one of Japan's most prominent authors. DROR KEREN will read the stories, translated by Irit Tapiro. Brothers Hisham and Inal Khouri will play violins.
The audience also enjoyed the original pictures from these books, which will be screened at the same time.
