EMBASSY OF JAPAN PHOTO EXHIBITION ~ TOHOKU REGION: BUILDING FOR A BETTER TOMORROW~ June 4, 2012: The photo panels will be exhibited in Modi'in, at Azrieli Center, (Jerusalem Gate)
On March 12, Ambassador Sato attended the opening of the photo exhibition held in commemoration of the first anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake. The exhibition, which is now taking place at the Azrieli Shopping Center in Tel Aviv, is a cosponsored project by the Azrieli Group and the Embassy of Japan. The extensive collection of photographs incorporates a series of "now-and-then" scenes, showing the path of Japan's steady recovery from the disaster. They not only tell us stories of grief and hope but also show us the beautiful traditions of the affected areas and the strong resilience of the local people.

Over 30 panels are displayed on the 3rd floor of Azrieli Shopping Center in Tel Aviv	Ambassador Sato and Mrs. Dana Azrieli, Director of Azrieli Group Ltd. make a short tour of the exhibition
