Caution: Anyone entering Japan on or after April 29 (starting at 00:00 JST of April 29), 2023 will no longer be requied to show a valid vaccination certificate or a PCR test certificate obtained before departure.

In the meanwhile, a surveillance "Genomic Surveillance of Infectious Diseases" is to be launched on a volunteer basis for those who have symptoms such as fever and cough at the airport of arrival in Japan aiming to do genome analysis.
With the above change, "Quarantine procedure (Fast Track)" icon will be removed from Visit Japan Web on April 29 at 00:00 JST.


《Israeli Tralevers to Japan as a Temporary Visitor for a Short-Term Stay》
The government of Japan has announced to resume the visa exemption measures from October 11, 2022. As for Israeli and other nationals of 67 countries and regions who will enter Japan as a temporary visitor for a short-term stay up to 90 days do not need to obtain a visa.
