From May 3 to 17, the Embassy of Japan hosted in collaboration with Shenkar College of Engineering and Design the Exhibition "Shodo," a unique collection of jewelry works inspired by Japanese calligraphy. All the exhibited works were created by the students of Shenkar's jewelry design department, intricately absorbing and reflecting the physical aesthetics of Japanese letters in their forms. Interpretations of the Japanese letters interestingly appeared eclectic among students, each delivering successful cultural mix to amuse the visitors. |
