Promotional Event of Japanese Sake

On April 24, 2013, the Embassy of Japan and JETRO Tel Aviv Office hosted a promotional event of Japanese sake to the Israeli market, inviting over a hundred guests including famous restaurant chefs and owners, journalists, wine and food importers. The special guests from famous breweries of Japan also participated in the event, Mr. Kuji, the owner of Nambubijin, Mr. Hosaka from Shirataki Breweries, and Mr. Inaba from Choya. The guests were fascinated by Mr. Kuji's lecture on the background of sake, in particular, how to enjoy it. It was indeed a rare occasion to taste top-class brands of sake in Israel, and each of the guests enjoyed more than 20 different flavors and tastes of sake.
