Embassy of Japan in cooperation with the Israel Japan Friendship Society The Japanese Dancer and the Israeli Dancer Uniqueness, diversity and an intercultural encounter
Friday, May 19, 2017 at 11:00 The Museum Tower, 19th floor 4 Berkowitz St., Tel Aviv Un Yamada, one of Japan's leading contemporary choreographers, has been appointed as the "Japan Cultural Envoy," dispatched to the world tour and now to Israel by the Japanese government. Ms. Yamada is currently working with "Maslool", the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Dance Track for the second time, to create a new world premiere for young dancers. The Dancer Training Course of "Maslool"is a two-year program for training dancers in ages 18-21, most of them are serving in the IDF, holding the position of "outstanding dancer". Graduates of "Maslool" are the basis of the dance troupes and independent dance scene in Israel. In this lecture, Un Yamada, together with Naomi Perlov and Offir Dagan - the two artistic directors of "Maslool", will characterize the contemporary dancers in Israel and in Japan, and discuss the inter-cultural encounters and challenges they face through their movement in the studio. The directors of "Maslool" will share about the unique encounter of the Israeli dancers with Ms. Yamada's world of movement, and will try to define the uniqueness of the Israeli dancer compared to the different dancers she met last year.	הרקדן היפני והרקדן ישראלי \| ייחודיות, שוני ומפגש בינתרבותי יום שישי 19 במאי 2017 בשעה 11:00 בספריית שגרירות יפן מגדל המוזיאון רחוב ברקוביץ 4, קומה 19, תל אביב און יאמדה, מהכוריאוגרפית העכשוויות המובילות ביפן, נבחרה על ידי ממשלת יפן להיות שגרירת מחול ותרבות. במסגרת סיוריה בעולם, און יאמדה הגיעה לעבוד עם ״המסלול להכשרת רקדנים״ - תל אביב-יפו בפעם השנייה בכדי ליצור יצירה חדשה בבכורה עולמית לרקדנים הצעירים. ״ המסלול להכשרת רקדנים״ הינה תכנית דו שנתית להכשרת רקדנים בגילאי 18-21 אשר רוב הרקדנים הינם בעלי מעמד ׳רקדן מצטיין׳ בצה״ל. בוגרי ״המסלול״ מהווים הבסיס המשעותי בלהקות המחול ובסצינת המחול העצמאי בישראל. במפגש שלפנינו נעמי פרלוב ואופיר דגן - המנהלים האמנותיים של ״המסלול״, ביחד עם און יאמדה יאפיינו את הרקדן העכשווי בישראל ויפן וידונו במפגש הבינתרבותי שמתקיים דרך התנועה בסטודיו. מנהלי ״המסלול״ יספרו על המפגש הייחודי של הרקדנים הישראליים עם העולם התנועתי של און ואון תנסה להגדיר את ייחודו של הרקדן הישראלי לעומת רקדנים שונים אותם פגשה בשנה האחרונה.
