Japanese Food & Sake Week
November 10 -16, 2013

The Embassy of Japan will organize a Japanese Food & Sake Week from 10 to16 in November, 2013.

It is the third and the largest event this year to further promote Washoku or Japanese cuisine and Sake in Israel. Joining this festive event will be Mr. Takatoshi Toshi, Master Chef from a Michelin recommended Japanese restaurant in San Francisco, Mr. Atsuhide Kato, sake brewer of "Born", as well as many local Japanese restaurants in Israel.

Special Cooking Class
November 10 in Tel Aviv Organized by JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) Tel Aviv, a special cooking class will be held with Chef Israel Aharoni, an expert in Asian cuisine, preparing Israeli dishes with Japanese food ingredients. prepared especially for the Food Week at:
Yakimono, Kyoto, Minato, Yamatoya, Franjelico, Kampai,
Neo-Sushi, Moon, Soho and more…

Sake tasting event will also be offered at
Yakimono (Evening of November 11)

Kyoto(Evening of November 14)

In addition, a special sake tasting event will be held at the Ambassador's residence for Japanese restaurant owners
and wine importers/retailers
