A Japanese Astronaut Visits Ambassador Sato
On Tuesday, Jan. 29, a Japanese astronaut Dr. Satoshi Furukawa visited the Japanese Embassy where he met with Ambassador Sato.

Dr. Furukawa briefed Ambassador on his 165 day spaceflight mission he completed in 2011.
The main purpose of his trip was to give a lecture at the 8th Ilan Ramon Annual International Space Conference on the next day.
We hope his visit will further promote scientific cooperation between Japan and Israel.
